Pacific Musicians Scoop National Music Awards

Pacific stars shone at last month’s Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards with Savage picking up the International Achievement award alongside Flight of the Concords. Savage topped half a million in digital single sales in the US for his remixed hit “Swing”. Other Pacific winners were Scribe who took out the award for Best Urban / Hip Hop Album for Rhymebook. Samoan – Chinese Soul, Jazz and Hip-hop songstress Iva Lamkum was given the honour of performing live at Auckland’s Vector Arena for the annual red carpet event.
